Latest update in regards to the ability problem
I have
spoken to Rob at BBK and we have now rectified the problem and the
abilities now work.
**************************
Please note you will need to have
full BRCA before you can race at our club including tonight!!!!
No BRCA no racing!!!
We have noticed that since we have been running
finals at the end of every Wednesday night there’s tension building up
from the drivers when racing and also the standard of driving drops so
we have decided to change back to three rounds and no finals.
We see a high quality of driving during the first
two round so by making the following decision to change back, your
driving standard will be improved as there no pressure to win a race as
the round are timed racing.
In making this change we will run a night of finals at the end of the
league.
We will soon be starting a new league
Marshalling!!!!!
Over the last few weeks it has been noticed that
after racing people are not marshalling or they are standing together
talking and not watching for crashed cars.
If you fail to marshal or stand together we will
deduct laps from your best race!!
Please check your Car before racing to make sure
there’s no screws hanging down underneath as this causes rips in the
carpet and shortens the life of the carpet.
A little reminder that the building we are using is
not ours so please treat it with respect, as we want to stay here.

We now have the archive working

As you are aware there have been a few problems with the race program and
delay with the lap counting well we have a new version of the
program and the delay has now been sorted out.
A little surprise for Mick kelly on Wednesday night
was his reincarnation in the form of the lord of the rings wizard after
his landing skill on top of a car so for many who have not seen this check
out the picture link below

Please use our website
We are using the internet to cut down on paperwork. Therefore, we
would greatly appreciate it if you fill out the form on our club website
to enter the Series:
www.cbmodelsracing.co.uk
Check out the information page for details of how the Series runs.
If you don’t have access to the internet then you can see race
control tonight. But please, only if you really can’t get on our
website.
Do you want to run stock?
We are thinking of running a stock class for touring cars. You
will have to run rubber tyres and a 27 turn motor.
For the stock class to go ahead there will need to be enough
entries on our website.
Important: if you are running stock class at
the beginning of the Series, you will not be allowed to change to
modified at any point. If you do change to modified you will still be
welcome to race, but you won't be included in the Series.
Rules of the series

Have a great Christmas
and a happy New Year
We raised £134 last night in
our raffle. All proceeds go to cancer care.
Thanks to all who took part and
especially Mick for selling all those tickets.
A big big thanks to Barry for organising the karting
last night (Thursday 4th December 2003). We all had a great time even
though I'm sure we're all aching. I took some
photographs, which I'll be
putting on this site very soon.
See you on Wednesday.
